What this site collects, what it does not, and who to contact. Every service named below is one this site actually loads — nothing here is boilerplate.

Who runs this site
WeBring K-Hiking is published by WeBring (주식회사 위카코퍼레이션), a company in Seoul, business registration number 742-81-02381. Miyoung Cho (조미영) is the founder and representative, and is responsible for the data described here.
What we collect
We never ask you for anything. There is no newsletter, no contact form, and no field anywhere on this site that you type personal information into. What the site does load is Google Analytics on every page, one Google ad unit on the mountain pages, and an optional Google sign-in. Each is described below.
Analytics
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (property G-2DVP7K9L3M), shared across the WeBring family of sites; each event carries a value identifying this one. It records which pages are opened, roughly where from, and what kind of device — not who you are. Google holds that data under its own terms, and we read it only as aggregate reports.
Advertising
Mountain pages and the mountain list carry one Google AdSense unit (publisher ca-pub-1099001563164676). Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your earlier visits to this or other sites. No other page on this site carries advertising.
You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.
Signing in
Signing in is optional and nothing on this site needs it — every guide page is open to everyone. If you do sign in with Google, we receive the name, email address and account id Google gives us and store them with Supabase so that you stay signed in and can save trips and bookmarks. Your browser also keeps the session in local storage. Signing out ends the session; email us to delete the account itself.
Who else sees data
Google (Analytics, AdSense, sign-in), Supabase (accounts and the guide content), and Cloudflare (hosting). The footer also loads a small cross-link row from webring.kr, our own family of sites. We do not sell data, and this site has no mechanism that would let us.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser, use the Google opt-outs above, and read the whole guide without signing in. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email us — we answer in Korean or English.
